Billie Starkz Expresses Disappointment On Social Media After Athena Forms Tag Team With Mercedes Mone On AEW Dynamite

Billie Starkz has taken to X to express her disappointment after reigning ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and Mercedes Mone formed a tag team on last night’s AEW Dynamite.
The October 22, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite saw the company reveal the brackets for the upcoming Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament. However, before the brackets were unveiled, a new tag team was officially formed on TV.
After Mercedes Mone’s 12-belt celebration segment was interrupted by AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, Athena approached The CEO outside the venue.
The War Goddess suggested that she and the reigning AEW TBS Champion should join forces for the upcoming Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament, and Mercedes agreed.
This hasn’t gone down well with Billie Starkz, who, earlier today, took to her X account to express her disappointment via a series of posts. She also demanded a meeting with Tony Khan.

She also commented on a post from a fan, who had asked about Billie Starkz’s whereabouts after Athena approached Mercedes Mone.

Athena also commented on Billie’s post, claiming that the latter didn’t pick up her phone.
