Bishop Dyer Competes In Match Before AEW Dynamite

Bishop Dyer worked his first match in an AEW ring, competing in a bonus match before this week’s AEW Dynamite. The WWE alumnus and MLW star worked a match before Wednesday night’s show, as revealed by fans on Twitter.

Dyer teamed up with Martin Stone and Better Together to face Billy and Austin Gunn, Brady Booker, & Elijah Drago. You can see pics of Dyer at the show below.

Photos show that the match was being taped. No word on whether the match will air at any point or on what platform. AEW is taping this week’s Collision tonight due to weather concerns in Texas, where the show was originally set to air live on Saturday. It’s not clear if the taping was for that, though the ring apron is the Dynamite ring apron.

Since leaving WWE, Dyer (previously Baron Corbin) has been busy on the independent scene. He and Donovan Dijak are the current MLW World Tag Team Champions. They won the titles from Los Depredadores at Summer Of The Beasts 2025 in late June. Their most recent defense came at the MLW x Don Gato Tequila show on November 20th, where they retained the titles the Good Brothers.
