A new report has details on another match that has reportedly been discussed for Sunday Night’s Main Event. False Finish reports that according to sources, WWE has discussed booking Blake Monroe vs. Giulia for the Peacock special.
It’s important to note that the report makes clear nothing is official as of yet. As previously reported, WWE has been considering a six-woman tag team match bitting Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab against Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley. WWE already has three matches officially announced for the show in a five-minute challenge between Lil Yachty and Baron Corbin, Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker, and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton.
If the Monroe vs. Giulia match happens, it would mark Monroe’s official main roster in-ring debut. She was announced as having her first main roster match on last week’s WWE Smackdown, but instead attacked Giulia and said that she was “world championship material” in a post-show video.
Sunday Night’s Main Event takes place on September 6th from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and airs live on Peacock.
