Brandi Rhodes Comments on Possible WWE Royal Rumble Return

Brandi Rhodes has debunked rumors of a surprise appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble, while still leaving the door open for a very specific kind of return someday. The clarification came during a relaxed conversation that shifted the focus from rumors to family.
Her last televised match took place in January 2022 on AEW Dark: Elevation, where she faced KiLynn King. Later that year, she had a brief, untelevised run at WWE’s Performance Center for a “in-house live event,” but nothing beyond that. Since then, Brandi Rhodes has focused on projects outside the ring. She has stayed active as a media personality and producer while supporting Cody Rhodes, who continues to headline WWE’s main event scene.
Speaking with Maxxine Dupri on her A Shot of Brandi, Rhodes explained what would actually motivate her to step back into a ring. For her, a one-night Rumble appearance would be about her daughter, Liberty (via WrestlingNews.co).
“Well, if I ever were to come back and do anything, I would love to make an entrance at the Royal Rumble, and be out in, let’s see how fast. Maybe three seconds?” she told Dupri. “I literally would probably hit the ring and be like, ‘Please throw me out, please throw me out, somebody throw me out!’ It would really just be to make the entrance, one more time for Libby.”
When Dupri asked whether that moment could happen this weekend in Saudi Arabia, Rhodes shut it down clearly. She confirmed she has no plans to be involved in the upcoming event and will be staying home with her family.
“No, no, no, we’re not.”
