Brooke Hogan Criticizes Police’s Handling Of Hulk Hogan’s Death Investigation

Brooke Hogan isn’t pleased with the Clearwater Police Department’s handling of Hulk Hogan’s death investigation, criticizing the investigation in a statement. As previously reported, the Clearwater, Florida PD closed the investigation into the WWE icon’s passing last week and announced that there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

Brooke has been suspicious of her father’s passing, previously noting that she had not been shown the results of his autopsy. She was asked by TMZ about the police closing the investigation, and the outlet notes that she said she was “stunned” when she saw she was named among those who cooperated as she felt shut out of the investigation.

Hogan said that she felt like her name being listed was an affront. She noted that there are things she doesn’t buy about Hulk’s passing, noting that she was told there were no blood samples available but later heard that investigators found nothing suspicious in his blood. She also said that the police records released to the public was redacted in terms of the prescriptions for pain and sleep her father was taking.

Brooke gave a statement that read:

“There’s been a lot of inconsistencies from the BEGINNING. I think CWPD missed the mark by not IMMEDIATELY making this a big investigation and not questioning everything and everybody out the gate. This should have been treated as a taped off, locked down, thorough investigation from day one.”

Clearwater police declined to comment on Brooke’s statements.
