Brooke Hogan Ignored Interview Requests for Netflix Hulk Hogan Doc
Hulk Hogan Knows Best
On April 22nd, presumably still hoping to ride the high of WrestleMania weekend, Netflix will release a new Hulk Hogan documentary. The big lure that makes this different from any previous documentaries, like the various A&E shows, is that it will feature his last on-camera interview, done shortly before his death.
He won’t be the only one interviewed, but one person we definitely won’t hear from in it is daughter Brooke. Unlike her brother Nick, who has been making the rounds at WWE World, Brooke had been estranged from her late father.
In a conversation with the Hollywood Raw podcast, as transcribed by Fightful, Brooke revealed that she was indeed asked to be in the documentary, but says, “I just didn’t answer.”
She noted that she wasn’t going to suddenly change her tune about Hulk just because of a chance to be on TV, but she knows others will, saying, “If you know the patterns of people that you’ve known since you were born, I knew this was going to be something that everybody jumped on. ‘Oh, another chance to be on TV, another chance to be in the pocket.’…One day you’re making a video talking about how terrible this person is, and the next, ‘I love him so much.’..I feel like people aren’t stupid and the audience will know who is full of shit and who is being genuine.”
