Bryan Danielson Weighs In On Raja Jackson & Syko Stu Incident

Bryan Danielson recently shared his thoughts on the Raja Jackson & Syko Stu incident. As you very likely know, Jackson legitimately attacked Stu (real name Stewart Smith) at a KNOKX Pro show in California last month during a planned spot and left him hospitalized. The attack came after Stu, appearing to believe he was working an angle, hit a beer can over Jackson’s head which Jackson did not sell. The two shook hands after the beer can inside and appeared to have settled things before the in-ring attack.

Danielson spoke with Josh Mansour on UNSCRIPTED and was asked about the spot, noting that he’s only seen the clip and believes what he saw was “irresponsible.”

“I’ve seen the clip,” Danielson said (per Fightful). “I have no context for what actually happened. It seems pretty irresponsible on a lot of different levels.”

He continued, “I have been in the ring with people who, we don’t necessarily get along, but there is professionalism. I will say this, and this is not a defense of what he did, I don’t think Rampage’s son is a professional wrestler. I don’t know who (orchestrated it). There is a certain degree of professionalism you have to have to call yourself a professional wrestler, and that’s not it.”

Jackson was arrested on Thursday and booked on a felony charge of battery with serious bodily injury. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to four years in prison.
