Bully Ray Is Unsure Where Finn Balor Fits Into the Current WWE Landscape

During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray expressed uncertaainty regarding 44-year-old WWE Superstar Finn Balor, and where he fits into the current WWE landscape. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com)

Bully Ray on What To Do With Finn Balor on Raw

“Personally, I don’t know what you do with Finn Balor, the great wrestler. Listen, if you told me you were inventing … the workhorse championship tomorrow, and you were gonna have the Iron Man Championship that’s defended every single week on TV for 15 minute matches, blah, blah, blah, and Finn Balor was gonna be your champion – sold, because that’s a f***ing Iron Man. Other than that, in this huge world of the WWE, I don’t know where he fits.”

His Thoughts on The Demon Character

“I know that, when Vince [McMahon] was around, the Demon character was only something that came out when Finn Balor couldn’t get the job done, which made Finn look ineffective.”

During this week’s WWE Raw, Balor attempted to declare himself for the Royal Rumble match. However, Balor was informed by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce that all the spots for the match were full.

Balor later interfered in the main event, when CM Punk was defending the World Heavyweight Title against AJ Styles. Balor attacked Punk, drawing a disqualification.
