Cage and Cope Beat Death Riders, Retain Tag Team Titles At AEW Redemption

It was a tough fight for them, but Adam Copeland and Christian Cage survived the Death Riders to retain their Tag Team Titles at AEW Redemption. Cope and Cage battled PAC and Claudio Castagnoli during the PPV on Sunday with the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line.

The Death Rider duo went after Copeland before the bell, and before Cage had even come down to the ring. Cope and Cage eventually battled back and they went back and forth for a litle over 18 and a half minutes, before Cage took out Claudio and Cope hit a spear on PAC for the victory.

After the match, the Young Bucks came down to the ring and stared off with Cope and Cage. It was announced on the Tron that the match between the two teams will take place at All In: London. Copeland shook hands with the Bucks, though Cage refused to.

You can see clips from the AEW Redemption match below. Copeland and Cage’s AEW World Tag Team Championship reign stands at 64 days; they won the titles from FTR at AEW Double or Nothing in late May. AEW All In: London takes place on Aug 30th.
