Carmelo Hayes Says He and Kelani Jordan Are Getting Married In October

Carmelo Hayes has confirmed that he and Kelani Jordan have set an October date for their wedding. The two stars have been engaged for just over a year, announcing their engagement back in early July 2025. Hayes spoke with WBZ News’ David Wade for a new interview on Friday promoting WWE SmackDown, where he unsuccessfully challenged Baron Corbin for the WWE United States Championship. During the conversation, he was asked about the upcoming nuptials.

Hayes praised his fiancée, calling her “one of the best in the game,” and noted that she is doing most of the planning while he just agrees to what she’s planning. You can see the highlights below:

On His Upcoming Wedding to Jordan:

“Yes. Thank you… [it’s in] October, yes. Kelani Jordan, for NXT… She’s fantastic, one of the best in the game right now.”

On Wrestling and Planning a Wedding At the Same Time:

“That’s — we need to ask her that. She’s doing so well, I give her props on that. She’s doing so good at that. I’m just giving her the ‘Yeses’ and the ‘Yeses.’”
