Charlotte Flair Gets Upset About Tatum Paxley’s Money in the Bank Qualifier in New WWE SmackDown Video

As previously reported, Tatum Paxley will compete in a women’s Money in the Bank qualifying bout on next week’s WWE SmackDown. In a new backstage digital video from WWE, Paxley tells her friends Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair about the news, but Charlotte Flair doesn’t appear to be happy about.
When Paxley suggests the trio celebrate over brunch, Charlotte Flair responds, “You know what, Tater? You’re right. Your candles cause me bad luck. Oh. Hope they don’t cause you bad luck next week.”
Flair walks off, and Bliss says she will go talk to her, while Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab approach Paxley. B-Fab points out, “All three of you get a chance to qualify for Money in the Bank when we’re the ones who beat your ass Sunday Night Main Event.”
Jade Cargill then says to Paxley, “You know what’s funny? You think that you’re up next for a Tag Team title match. When I say what happens around here and I think my girls deserve that opportunity, just like I will drop you right now, right here, but you get the opportunity to go tell your friends, we up next.”
Paxley then explains how they already beat Fatal Influence, so a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles should go to herself and her friends next. Cargill then says, “If you think those are your friends, you’re nothing but another body in this war.” The trio then walks off while Paxley says to herself, “They’re my friends…”
It looks like some dissension might be brewing between Paxley, Flair, and Bliss, as Cargill plays mind games. Meanwhile, Tatum Paxley will face Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae in a Money in the Bank qualifier on SmackDown next week.
Next week’s Friday Night SmackDown is being held at Denver’s Ball Arena on October 2. The show will air live on USA Network.
