Chelsea Green Comments On Injury, Rants Over AAA Mixed Tag Team Title Loss

Chelsea Green missed her Mixed Tag Team Title match at AAA on FOX due to injury, and she took to social media to comment on the injury and Ethan Page’s loss. As noted, Page and Green were set to defend their Mixed Tag Team Championships against Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice on last night’s show. However, Green suffered an ankle injury on Smackdown and was unable to compete. La Hiedra stepped in to defend the titles, but Vice and Iguana picked up the win to capture the titles.

Green posted to Twitter after the match to share pictures of her ankle, both in and out of her walking boot. She took aim at AAA for forcing Page to defend the titles, writing:

“The AUDACITY of @luchalibreaaa to throw @OfficialEGO into a match like that after I almost ended my career on Smackdown last night from a near fatal fall.

Ethan, we need to talk!!!”

It isn’t yet known how severe Green’s injury is, nor how long she may be out of action. Green and Page held the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships for 98 days, having won them from Hiedra and Iguana at AAA Alianzas on November 2nd.
