Chelsea Green Will Only Listen to John Cena’s Advice About Her Acting Career

During a recent interview with The Early Bird Special, WWE Superstar Chelsea Green discussed her recent casting in the upcoming horror movie Red Wedding. Chelsea Green explained that the only person whose advice she would listen to about advancing in her Hollywood acting career is John Cena, because he did it the same way she wants to do it. Chelsea Green on Fans Calling Her an Underdog

“People have had this amazing like they started and then they’ve just got everything they’ve ever wanted in like 3 years and I’m jealous of that. But like the fans know my story. they relate to my story and so and so they got on board with I like they they’re always calling me an underdog which I think is so funny because I I feel so far removed from that title but I understand why they call me that.”

On Her First Major Acting Role in Red Wedding

“So, yeah, I’m very excited. This feels this feels um new. I’ve never done a horror movie. I’ve I’ve I’ve dabbled in acting, of course. Um, but this feels like the first time that I dove head first into something where, you know, they hired me as an actress, not a wrestler, right? That that was very new. That was and very nerve-wracking. And I just like I so badly want to do this and want to make myself and my family and like my future family proud. So, this I put a lot of weight on this project and I had so much fun. Oh my gosh, I wish I could like I wish I could tell you guys everything. Like, I can’t wait till it comes out so we can all dissect it.”

Chelsea Green on Only Wanting Advice From john Cena

“The only person I want advice from is John Cena because John Cena is the only person who’s truly done it the way that I want to do it, which is he started from ground zero and he has built his resume and he’s also not only has he built his resume from the ground up, but you can tell based on his growth in every movie or every voiceover or severy TV show that he’s still He’s still training as an actor. He’s still practicing and honing his craft. And like that’s what I want to do. I don’t want to be I don’t want to be given roles because I’m Chelsea Green from WWE. I I I don’t want that. I want to start from, you know, like the little roles and and build my way up and make sure that I’m learning as I go because this is a this is a whole new field that I know nothing about. So, um, I have been non-stop texting, his wife, Shay, and I keep them kind of posted on the projects that I’m doing and and all that stuff. And, um, yeah, he’s really the only person that I can look at and think like, I want to emulate that because a lot of times I don’t want to emulate anyone. I just want my own path. And the minute that you try to follow in someone else’s footsteps is the minute that you get like lost in the sauce and you don’t know where to go.”
