Chelsea Green Reveals She Suffered an Ankle Break, Says Her ‘Spirit Prevails’

As previously reported, WWE Superstar Chelsea Green of The Green Regime suffered a foot injury during her Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match on WWE SmackDown. It was later reported that it was believed that Green suffered a very bad bruise, rather than a broken foot or ankle. Unfortunately, Green revealed a “breaking news” image today on her X account, revealing that she did, in fact, break her ankle.

Sharing an image from the Chelsea Chronicle, the former WWE Women’s United States Champion revealed a headline that reads, “Ankle breaks; Spirit Prevails. Nation watched in horror as resilient President finished wrestling match on live TV.” The image also features what looks to be an X-ray of Green’s broken ankle.

Sadly, as a result of her injury, Green was not able to make her AAA Mixed Tag Team Title match at AAA on FOX Mexico as planned. La Hiedra ended up taking her place with tag team partner Ethan Page. They ended up losing the titles to Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice.

Obviously, this news is a devastating setback for President Chelsea Green. Not to mention, she lost her title without being involved in the match result. On behalf of 411, we send our best wishes to Chelsea Green on her speedy recovery.
