Chris Jericho Drills Tommaso Ciampa, Wins No Holds Barred Match At AEW Redemption

Chris Jericho brought the Painmaker for his No Holds Barred match with Tommaso Ciampa at AEW Redemption, but it was a drill that got him the win. Jericho battled Ciampa in a bloody battle at Sunday’s show, with Jericho bringing back his Painmaker character from NJPW.

The match kicked off with a battle of bat vs. chair, and progressed from there. The two used a number of blood-drawing weapons from barbed wire and panes of glass to thumbtack-riddled hockey pucks. The two showed their resilience as they kicked out of big moves and weapon shots.

Eventually, the drill came out and Ciampa went after Jericho, but received a face full of green mist. After the use of another mirror and a few mote finishers, Jericho grabbed the drill and used it on Ciampa’s forehead, leaving the Psycho Killer no choice but to immediately give up.
