Clark Connors is exploring his options as his NJPW contract is set to expire soon, according to a new report. It was reported over the weekend that David Finlay is exploring other options ahead of his deal expiring. Fightful Select reports that the same is true of Connors, whose deal is set to expire toward the end of January.
Connors has not wrestled in a couple of months. His last match came at NJPW Hiroshi Tanahashi Final Homecoming. Connors teamed with his BULLET CLUB War Dogs partners OSKAR & Yuto-Ice as well as Shingo Takagi to defeat United Empire’s Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan, Jakob Austin Young & Templario.
As previously noted, NJPW is not set to have a lot of contract expiring in January as per usual. Several deals were signed in the spring and summer after working on handshake deals and thus will not be up until that point in 2026.
Connors is said to be exploring his options amid interest from US companies. New Japan is hopeful they can retain him.
