CM Punk Workout Footage Appears Online, Punk Readying for WWE Return

The last time we saw CM Punk on WWE television was on WWE Raw the night after WrestleMania 42. As you might recall, Punk was talking about his loss to Roman Reigns when Cody Rhodes came down to tell him that he isn’t a loser and deserves the accolades he got from the fans. Punk teased challenging Cody for his Undisputed WWE Championship, Cody seemed open to it, and we haven’t seen Punk make a WWE appearance since. He did appear at the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano fight, but that was easy enough to work into the schedule.

If you’re wondering what CM Punk has been up to since mid-April, it looks like he’s getting into shape! Footage shot at an undisclosed gym showed the Punker looking bigger & badder as he gets ready for another run at a major championship:

While one might find it kind of odd for someone to be filming WWE Superstars at the gym and posting it online, it is worth noting here since Punk’s recent absence is reportedly due to a ”schedule change”. The word is that Punk is awaiting new creative now that Gunther is on SmackDown to feud with Cody & Roman has his beef going with Jacob Fatu. It feels like CM Punk deserves a nice little break from television, and if this isn’t AI he should be ready for big things when he returns.
