Note On The Rock’s Current Closest WWE Allies Following Moana Premiere

Several WWE stars joined Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the Los Angeles premiere of Disney’s live-action Moana, with a new report suggesting the guest list may reflect some of Johnson’s closest relationships within WWE today.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch attended the July 7 premiere of the film, which stars The Rock as Maui. The report notes that the trio’s presence at the event “probably tells you who Johnson these days is close to.”

While the newsletter offered that observation, it did not indicate whether Johnson personally invited the WWE stars or commented further on the guest list. Alexa Bliss, with her family, and Nia Jax, were also spotted during the premiere, but Dave Meltzer did not comment on them.

Johnson attended the premiere as one of the film’s lead actors, returning to the role of Maui in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Moana. The event brought together members of the cast, filmmakers, and invited guests ahead of the movie’s release.

For now, the event stands as another crossover between WWE and Hollywood, with several of the company’s biggest names joining Johnson for one of the year’s highest-profile film premieres.
