Competitors for Interim Canadian Title Bout Announced for Tonight’s MLP Uprising

As previously reported, Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) announced that a new MLP Canadian Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at tonight’s MLP Uprising show after Josh Alexander suffered an injury that requires surgery and will sideline him for the time being. MLP has now confirmed the new matchup, which will be for the “Interim” Canadian Championship at tonight’s show.
Per the announcement, Michael Oku, former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, Stu Grayson, former Impact World Champion Rich Swann, Rohan Raja, and former ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will face off in a Six-Man Elimination Match for the interim title.

Tonight’s MLP Uprising event is being held at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and will stream live on TrillerTV.
