Demolition’s WWE Hall of Fame induction will not include the third member in Crush, and Crush’s son says he understands why. As noted, the legendary tag team is being inducted as part of the 2026 Hall of Fame class. The indusction will be for Bill Eadie (Ax) & Barry Darsow (Smash), while Brian Adams (Crush) will not be part of it.

Crush joined the group in 1990 after WrestleMania VI when the team turned heel, slowly taking over for Ax who was initially dealing with health issues and moved to more of a managerial role. The team would end their run in WWE within the next year. Crush returned to WWE after a short time away and continued as Crush until 1995.

Royce adams appeared on Master Class for a new interview and spoke about his father not being part of the induction. He noted that he understands why Crush is not part of the induction and hopes his dad can some day get inducted as himself. You can see the highlights below (per Fightful):

On If Anyone Reached out To the Family:

“No. No, we were not contacted by WWE at all about this…. No. They [Ax and Smash] haven’t reached out to us either. I think they just had their hands too busy with other things too and that’s what I believe… But no, we did not get reached out by either.”

On Why Crush Isn’t Part of the Induction:

“Well, the way I see it, Demolition’s — their legacy was already well-established before my dad’s arrival because the way I see it, my dad didn’t get involved with Demolition until what? Their literal last year as a team. So, I don’t know if he joined in while they’re still doing that long tag team reign or if this was done afterwards but, all I can say is Demolition… they’ve already built their own legacy well before my dad’s arrival and therefore, it’s kind of like their own thing.”

“As for my dad, I would like to think that he could be honored someday as his own character, you know? As the Crush character. So, all that being said, I am still very happy about Demolition’s induction regardless. About time, right? That’s what people say… I’m happy for them and I understand due to the exclusive nature that is the WWE Hall of Fame and that, you know, say my dad never really does — I’ve also noticed that you guys aren’t the only ones that are talking about it. I’m actually quite thankful that a lot of fans that are also talking about this too. The whole, ‘Where’s Crush?’ this and, ‘Why isn’t he in?’ that and stuff… Bottom line is it’s just that Demolition already created their own big deal well before his arrival and I would just hope that my dad would be inducted as his own act, as solo Crush.”

On the Possibility Of Ax and Smash Not Mentioning His Dad:

“Sure, I’m fine. I mean, hey, it’s their moment. They’re able to celebrate however they want to. Like I said, I’m happy for them, you know? That they were able to finally get that long-awaited induction after all these years. Shoot, it’s like, why not? Plus too, you realize it’s not just my dad that’s not included. It’s also Mr. Fuji. He was the manager… That’s how I see it too. Mr. Fuji’s not being inducted with the group either and I think there was something else that I had in mind too but for as far as I’m concerned, it is what it is. I’m happy for them, and I look forward to seeing what they have to say in their Hall of Fame ceremony. I’m curious, just to see what funny stories they’ll pull out their pockets.”
