Air Wolf vs. Fenix: They lock up and Fenix grounds the action. They work back to the feet, Fenix grounds him again but Wolf counters into a surfboard, but Fenix escapes. Wolf now grounds the action, working the arm but Fenix counters out and follows with arm drags. They trade chops, back elbows by Fenix but Wolf hits arm drags. Fenix fires back and dumps him. Back in and Wolf hits a RANA and then follows with a tope. Back in and Wolf up top and drops down and Fenix hits a flurry of strikes and kicks. Wolf battles back with Germans, but Fenix hits a hook kick. Wolf then follows with a slingshot flatliner for 2. Fenix fires back with chops, and then rolls into a dropkick. The ropewalk kick follows for 2. He looks for the black fire driver, but Wolf counters out into the butterfly DDT and covers for 2. They trade kicks, Fenix takes him up and the black fire driver is countered into a cradle and Wolf wins. Air Wolf defeated Rey Fenix @ 9:48 via pin [***¼] With Fenix reportedly becoming AEW exclusive soon in the US, putting Air Wolf over here made sense. This was a good opener and a huge win for Air Wolf.

– Fenix raised Air Wolf’s hand after the match as commentary team played up Wolf’s big win.

– Austin Aries is coming to MLW.

– Salina De la Renta called out Mance Warner and Sami Callihan, saying they caused chaos last week on the show she was producing. She then challenged them to a match next week against Promociones Dorado and said she will bring the chaos to them.

Jacob Fatu defeated Barrington Hughes: They brawl at the bell, Hughes hits a corner splash but Fatu hits a superkick and whisper in the wind for the win. Jacob Fatu defeated Barrington Hughes @ 0:30 via pin [NR] This being short was for the best as Fatu picks up a big win. Fatu has a ton of upside.

– Teddy Hart thanked the Lucha Bros for the tag titles and said that he hopes they face again. He then called Rich Swann awesome and he warned Brian Pillman Jr. about him for his National Openweight Championship semifinal match. Pillman said that Hart & Smith have gold and that he’s looking for some of his own.

– Hammerstone says that after he beats Gringo Loco tonight, he’ll celebrate with clubs, limousines, drinks, and MJF has even rented an elephant. Momma Hammer is coming, Papa Hammer is coming, Grand-papi Hammer is coming and even weird Uncle Gary Hammer is flying in to celebrate his big win.

– Ross & Marshall Von Erich have signed to MLW; they make their MLW debuts on June 1 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

– Tom Lawlor was in his gym and cuts a promo on Avalanche ahead of their MLW Title clash.

Ariel Dominguez vs. Bryan Idol: Dominguez looks to ground him, does and covers for 2. The cradle follows for 2. Idol cuts him off with a knee strike, follows with chops, and hits a dropkick. More knee strikes follow, and Idol suplexes him to the buckles. Dominguez fires back, but Idol hits the side effect for 2. Dominguez counters the suplex, but Idol follows with the last shot for 2. Idol then misses the moonsault and Dominguez lays in strikes, a dropkick and superkick for 2. Idol cuts him off with rights, but Dominguez hits a tornado DDT and cradles him for the win Ariel Dominguez defeated Bryan Idol @ 4:10 via pin [**½] This was a solid match with Dominguez being a great underdog babyface.

– Mance Warner and Sami Callihan cut a promo on Promociones Dorado and Salina de la Renta. They accept the challenge to a face Ricky Martinez & El Hijo de LA Park next week.

– Salina de la Renta argues with Low Ki over his contract. Ki was frustrated that the promoter is becoming the feature, and when she saw the camera took the conversation somewhere private. They continue to tease the possible split of Ki from Promociones Dorado.

Alexander Hammerstone vs. Gringo Loco: MJF &Holiday are at ringside. They lock up and Hammerstone overpowers him and shoves him down. Loco fires back with kicks, and follows with a standing moonsault. The RANA follows and Loco then teases a dive. Hammerstone cuts him off and they brawl on the floor. Hammerstone slams him off the apron and rolls back in. Loco fires back and follows with a moonsault press for 2. Loco hits the backdrop, heads up top and Hammerstone crotches him. He follows him up and hits the superplex. The nightmare pendulum finishes it. Alexander Hammerstone defeated Gringo Loco @ 4:55 via pin [**½] This was a short and solid main event with Hammerstone picking up the dominating win.

– Post match, Hammerstone said he’s no longer a prospect and that it’s his destiny to win the national Openweight title.

NEXT WEEK: Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Rich Swann in a National Openweight Championship tournament semifinal match and Mance Warner & Sami Callihan vs. El Hijo de LA Park & Ricky Martinez.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.
