UFC President and CEO Dana White has commented on the insulting remark made by fighter Josh Hokit at UFC Freedom 250.
After defeating Derrick Lewis at the White House event last night, the UFC heavyweight did an interview with Joe Regan. During the interview, he insulted former US President Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, calling her a “man.”
Speaking to Time magazine, White said he hated Hokit’s comments, as he is not a fan of people saying “nasty and false things” about someone’s family.
UFC Freedom 250 was held as part of the United States of America’s 250th birthday, and ahead of the event, Dana White told CNN that he wanted the event to be something that everyone, regardless of their political beliefs, would enjoy.
He stated, “I don’t care if you’re the furthest crazy left, or the furthest crazy right, or right down the middle. If you are an American, you will enjoy this show.”
UFC Freedom 250 also had representation from WWE in the form of President Nick Khan, Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.
