– “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero is a GFW star no more. The TNA and GFW mainstay announced on Instagram that he is leaving the company, as you can see below.
Dinero, who worked in WWE as Elijah Burke, joined TNA in 2009 and worked for the company through 2013, after which he left and went to Ohio Valley Wrestling. He re-signed with TNA in 2015 as a color commentator under the name of “Da Pope.” He has worked a few matches since, most recently on the April 5th episode of Impact when he lost to Lashley in a street fight.
