As previously reported, WWE Superstar Danhausen was invited to the New York Knicks NBA Championship parade, which took place earlier today in New York City. However, the very nice, very evil wrestler did not get to attend the event.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reports that Danhausen was not even in New York City for the parade. He was in the city yesterday (June 17), where he was reportedly filming at ESPN.
Johnson wrote, “I can confirm Danhausen is not in NYC and not at the Knicks parade. He was in NYC yesterday filming at ESPN, so someone made the decision not to have him here today. Whoever made that decision should, indeed, be cursed.”
As previously noted, Danhausen has been credited for helping the Knicks win their first NBA World Title in 53 years. First, for cursing the Cleveland Cavaliers before being swept by the New York Knicks in the conference finals, and then his “uncursing” of the Knicks. The team later beat the San Antonio Spurs 4-1 in the NBA Finals.
Even Knicks player and wrestling fan Jalen Brunson admitted to believing in Danhausen’s uncursing of the team.
