Danhausen Teases AEW Exit With Cryptic Social Media Post

Danhausen seemingly teased his AEW exit with a cryptic social media post this morning.
The 35-year-old took to X (FKA Twitter) to post a picture from a scene in Disney’s Aladdin, where Genie is freed at the end of the movie, suggesting that he may well be on his way out of All Elite Wrestling.

As reported in December 2025, Danhausen’s AEW contract is set to expire this month. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select subsequently reported that WWE would be interested in acquiring his services once the wrestler enters free agency.
Danhausen joined All Elite Wrestling at Dynamite: Beach Break in January 2022. His last appearance for AEW or ROH came at Final Battle 2024.
Last August, it was reported that Danhausen’s contract was due to expire on July 1, 2025, and that he had requested his release from the company. However, AEW extended his contract well into 2026 by adding injury time for the period he missed due to a torn pectoral muscle in 2023.
