Update On Danhausen’s AEW Status

A new report has an update on Danhausen’s status with AEW. The Very Nice, Very Evil One has not been seen on AEW TV since he returned at ROH Final Battle. Fightful Select reports that Danhausen’s contract was set to expire on July 1st but that he is still under contract, as months were added to his contract that take him “well into” 2026.

The report notes that Danhausen had requested AEW not to pick up the option on his contract and that he was ready to leave the company since he is rarely used. There are currently no creative plans for him.

Danhausen’s appearance at Final Battle, where he showed up and cursed Mason Madden, was his first appearance in months.
