Dani Luna Makes AEW Debut at AEW All Out 2026, Fails to Dethrone Persephone as AEW TBS Champion

Dani Luna’s maiden AEW outing ended on a disappointing note, as she failed to dethrone Persephone as AEW TBS Champion at All Out: Chicago.

Saturday’s pay-per-view saw former WWE and TNA talent Dani Luna answer Persephone’s Open Challenge.

Throughout the match, Britt Baker attempted to disrupt Luna’s momentum. She hit Luna off the top rope after the latter dominated proceedings initially. Dani was able to wrestle back the advantage before a German Suplex on the apron from Persephone stopped her in her tracks.

The former TNA talent responded with a German Suplex off her own from the apron. Later in the match, Baker grabbed her hair to stop a pinfall attempt.

The closing moments of the match saw Dani Luna wipe out Baker with a dive. However, that allowed Persephone to take down the challenger with a dive. Luna tried to nail another German Suplex from the apron, but Baker held onto Persephone’s legs. The champ ultimately connected with the Razor’s Edge to secure the pinfall.

Luna exited TNA Wrestling earlier this year and had since been rumored to join AEW. Meanwhile, Persephone’s reign currently stands at 28 days. She captured the title from Maya World at All In: London pre-show.
