AEW stars Darby Allin and Steven Borden joined 1010XL – Jacksonville’s Sports Radio ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts show. During the visit, Darby Allin discussed recently running and completing the New York Marathon over the weekend.

Allin said he’s still “feeling every ounce” of the marathon heading into the Blood & Guts match. Allin explained (via Fightful), “Yeah, thank you. Yeah, dude, I’m feeling every ounce of that. Because everyone’s like, yo, congratulations, and then I was like, dude, I wish I trained for that.”

Allin spoke about how he didn’t train for the marathon at all. He continued, “I didn’t train once for it, and then… little did I know it was only going to be a few days removed from Blood and Guts. So I — and Blood and Guts is the most violent, crazy night of the year for AEW, and my legs are feeling all 26.2 miles of that marathon.”

After a busy string of matches last week, Darby Allin steps into the cage for Blood & Guts tonight on AEW Dynamite. Allin teams up with Steven Borden, the Young Bucks, and AEW World Champion Will Ospreay against The Don Callis Family’s Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle.

AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts is being held at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. It will be broadcast live tonight on TBS starting at 8:00 pm ET. It will also be simulcast on HBO Max.
