Dark Match Results From Last Night’s WWE NXT: Westin Blake Competes After 2.5 Years & More

WWE taped three matches before last night’s NXT went on the air. According to PWInsider, one of the three matches involved former NXT talent and current producer Westin Blake. Blake is a former NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Buddy Murphy.

He was released from the company in April 2021, but the 38-year-old returned in the capacity of a producer in April 2024. Blake battled Kale Dixon in a singles match. This was his first in-ring outing since November 2023.

Below are the results:

– Viktor Zanov defeated Lince Dorado via Sleeper Hold. Zanov attacked Dorado after the match until Shido Ash came to Lince’s rescue.
– Lacey Simon defeated Gianna Capri via the Texas Cloverleaf.
– Kale Dixon defeated Westin Blake via roll-up with the latter’s feet on the ropes amid distraction from Alix Brooks.
