DarkState Defeats The Hardys In A Broken Rules Match To Win NXT Tag Team Championship At Halloween Havoc 2025

DarkState triumphed over The Hardys in an entertaining Broken Rules Match at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025 to regain the NXT Tag Team Championship.

As expected, the match proved to be a violent affair. In the initial stages, DarkState tried to use its numbers advantage by ganging up on The Hardys.

However, Broken Matt and Brother Nero used their experience, using steel chairs and tables to level the playing field. The duo continued to bash each of the four members of DarkState with whatever weapon they got their hands on.

At one point, they put two of the members on separate tables and launched Swantons from one of the top turnbuckles and a ladder. However, Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin managed to regain control of proceedings. The duo set up a ladder in a corner and then powerslammed Matt on it.

DarkState followed it with a 3D. However, Matt managed to kick out. Jeff came to his brother’s rescue by attacking the duo with kendo sticks. However, Lennox again overpowered the TNA World Tag Team Champions, taking out Jeff with a Spear through the barricade.

The action returned to the ring, where DarkState continued to beat down The Hardys. However, the babyface duo mounted another comeback, with Brother Nero hitting a Swanton Bomb on Griffin. But that still wasn’t enough to get the job done, as Lennox broke the pin.

The Hardys then set up a couple of tables on the outside and placed Griffin on them. Jeff climbed the ladder for a Swanton Bomb, but the DarkState member rolled off the table.

In the closing moments of the match, DarkState tangled Matt’s legs in a corner. This was followed with Griffin hosting Jeff on his shoulders and Lennox delivering the Doomsday Device by jumping off the ladder to send Brother Nero through a table to reclaim the NXT Tag Team Championship.
