DarkState remain your NXT Tag Team Champions, defeating OTM on this week’s WWE NXT before The Culling made their presence known. Tuesday night’s episode of NXT saw Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars put their titles on the line against Bronco Nima and Lucien Price in the opening match.
OTM put up a good fight and came close a coupe of times, but Vanity Project came down to ringside and distracted the challengers. That led to Price getting distracted, and Shugars got a roll-up using the ropes for leverage to get the pinfall victory.
After the match, OTM fought with Vanity Project, as well as Hank & Tank and Chase U. As DarkState celebrated in the ring, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance slid into the ring and attacked the group, beating them down. You can see highlights from the match below.
DarkState’s current title reign, their second, stands at 95 days. They defeated The Hardys on at NXT Halloween Havoc to recapture the titles. Before that, they held the titles for 44 from Heatwave in August 2025 to the NXT vs. TNA Showdown episode of WWE NXT on October 7th. The Culling teased chasing the NXT Tag Team Championships on last week’s show.
