NXT Universe! It’s time for a new edition of the Tuesday Night Delight live from the Mother Base, the Performance Center! With the NXT Men’s World Heavyweight Title being decided next week in a ladder match, tonight will help us to solidify the picture and who will be involved in the match.
From events that took place last week, we know that Sean Legacy and Shiloh Hill are in the match by virtue of their respective victories, and we know that Ricky Saints is in the match because, well, he’s Ricky Bloody Saints! But tonight, the other half of the match will be filled out, starting with Joe Hendry and Evolve Men’s World Champion Jackson Drake. Myles Borne will face DarkState member Dion Lennox, while Andre Chase has the unenviable task of facing the human wrecking machine known as Keanu Carver.
In non-ladder match related events, DarkState will defend the NXT tag team titles against OTM, who are cashing in on an opportunity at the titles after having Hendry’s back two weeks ago when he faced Lennox. All of this and, of course, so much more in store for us tonight!
So, how is everyone doing tonight? There is still a lot of snow sitting in my yard, but not on my porch, steps, or gravel, so that’s something lol.
I also wanted to take this chance to let everyone know that, for the second straight year, I have had the honor of partaking in the Voice of Wrestling’s Match of the Year countdown, which started yesterday with the honorable mentions, and continues today with the #100-75 and #75-50 ranked matches. So far, three of the matches that I put on my ballot have appeared (two in HM, one in the 100-75 stretch), with, hopefully, seven more yet to appear from #75 to #1! So, feel free to follow along with the yearly list this week, and you not only will you see yours truly popping up, but you will also see fellow writer Theo Sambus, as we hold it down for the 411Mania brand!
The link for that can be found here: Match of the Year
So, enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to chant N-X-T!

THEN!
NOW!
FOREVER!
TOGETHER!
Tonight, NXT is live from the Mother Base in Orlando! Vic Joseph and the ever excitable Booker T are on the call tonight!
Vic complains about it being cold in Orlando. Haha, that’s cute. It sounds like Ricky Saints is on commentary, as he says he will see who his next opponent for the ladder match is.
SAY HIS NAME AND HE APPEARS, I BELIEVE IN JOE HENDRY!
Except, we don’t, because we see Hendry is down and hurt in the back, as The Vanity Project are standing over him. Ava arrives and wants to know what happened. They don’t know, they are just here to help out though. A ref shows up and tells Ava that Tony D’Angelo is here, so Ava speaks into the mic to someone. We see D’Angelo being walked into the arena by security.
Apparently, we’re going to the tag team title match! Ricky says he is out of here lol.
