David Benoit Attends AEW Dynamite, Shares Pic With Chris Jericho & More

David Benoit was in attendance at this week’s AEW Dynamite and shared a backstage pic with Chris Jericho, Adam Copeland, and Christian Cage. Benoit posted to Instagram on Wednesday night from backstage at Wednesday’s show alongside a smiling Copeland and the far less smiley Jericho and Cage, as you can see below.

Benoit captioned the pic:

““Thankfully, I had the benefit of flash photography for a 5 second pose” only the cool kids will get it @chrisjerichofozzy @ratedrcope @christian4peeps @aew”

Benoit is of course the son of the late Chris Benoit, who committed suicide after killing his wife Nancy and son Daniel in 2007.

David previously expressed interest in possibly getting in the ring, saying back in 2019 that he had done some training with Lance Storm and adding, he’s “just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW.” He added, “I want to go to AEW 100%. I love AEW. I love what they do for the boys. Take care of them.”

It’s not clear how extensively David Benoit has trained or if he’ll ever step in the ring fully. He attended an episode of AEW Collision in July of 2023.
