Dax Harwood Talks Potential Matches With New Level

Back when FTR were known as the Revival, and the New Level were the New Day, the teams mixed it up many times in WWE. FTR took the win twice in a row when they made their main roster debut. Several years have passed, and now both teams are in AEW. FTR have gone even further than they could have as the Revival, and New Level are reinventing themselves. So what might a battle be like now?

On The Danny Ocean Show, Dax Harwood offered his thoughts. It sounds like there’s still a bit of a grudge waiting to reignite — asked about the influx of new teams to AEW, he clear4ly has favorites. “I’m a big fan of Motor City Machine Guns,” he said, “and having the New Level here brings a lot of, uh, additional eyeballs to our product.”

When pushed on whether he’s excited to face them again in the future, Harwood continued to damn with faint praise. “Any match that is a big money match for me at this stage in my career is a match I’m looking forward to,” he said.

Then he got more specific: “The New Level, you know, we have a checkered past with that team with those guys. We had a pretty memorable debut against those guys, and a bunch of different kind of matches. Even one of my favorite matches of all time was the ladder match we had with those guys”

“But this is 2026, seven years later. FTR has established themselves as the greatest tag team in the world. And at one time, New Level was the greatest tag team in the world. And now they can be they can be happy to sit at number two because right now, tag team wrestling is where myself and Cash, we reign supreme.” And this time, no Vince McMahon taking sides.

Once New Level fire back, this has a chance to be the tag team rematch feud everyone has long awaited. Check out the whole thing below:
