The defense team for Ludwig Kaiser has received access to the evidence in the battery case against him. As noted earlier this week, the WWE star’s motion to dismiss was denied by the judge overseeing the case, which involved Kaiser’s altercation with a man at his apartment complex.
Fightful Select reports that the State of Florida has officially provided Kaiser’s defense lawyers with access to the evidence. The evidence in question are photos of Richard Reap, who alleges that Kaiser hit him during the altercation.
The photos are as follows:
* Rich Reap Right Elbow.
* Rich Reap Head Injury 1.
* Rich Reap Head Injury 2.
* Rich Reap Right Side Injury.
Kaiser was arrested in April after the incident, which took place in an elevator in the Orlando, Florida apartment complex. He was charged with misdemeanor battery in the matter. Kaiser and his partner Andrea Bezarte were being “affectionate” in the elevator and Reap alleges he told the couple to “please have some manners.” Kaiser says Reap swore at them and made a racist comment, threatening to call ICE on Bazarte. Kaizer says he pushed Reap but only after Reap came aggressively toward him, and claims he didn’t retaliate when Reap threw a soft drink bottle at him.
A pre-trial conference in the case is scheduled for December 17th.
