Deonna Purrazzo Shares Pic For ‘Day One’ Of Injury Recovery
Deonna Purrazzo has begun her road to recovery from injury, sharing a pic of “day one” on her social media. Purrazzo, who was injured at last week’s ROH TV taping, posted to her Instagram account with a pic of herself following a workout.
Purrazzo captioned the photo simply “Day [One].” The video shows Purrazzo with her right foot bandaged, but no walking boot as she was wearing after the injury.
Purrrazzo suffered the apparent ankle injury in a match on June 22nd at the ROH Taping against Steph De Lander. The match was stopped and had to be helped to the back. It is not currently known how severe the injury is, nor when she may be back in the ring.
Deonna Purrazzo is the current and inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Championship, a title she won at ROH Final Battle in a tournament final against Billie Starkz. She most recently defended it (outside of the De Lander match) at ROH Global Wars: Cincinnati against Olympia.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Purrazzo for a quick and full recovery.
