Details On David Finlay, Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors Signing With AEW

The Dogs are officially All Elite, and a new report has some details on the signings of David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, and Clark Connors. As reported, David Finlay made his AEW debut on this week’s Dynamite as he allied with his NJPW stablemates and assaulted Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy. The debut and attack happened after Allin and Cassidy picked up a tag team win over Kidd and Connors. Tony Khan announced after the match and segment that the trio are All Elite.

Fightful Select has some new details on the contracts of the three. The report confirms that all three are under contract and that Finlay is signed to a multi-year deal. Sources indicated that the deal for Finlay came together in the last week. Finlay had been reported at the start of the year as wanting to explore free agency and was hoping to work more in the United States.

Finlay had some contact with WWE, but obviously decided to go elsewhere. The group will, as noted, be known as The Dogs which is a reference to the Bullet Club War Dogs faction. Finlay was the leader of the War Dogs, which included Kidd, Connors, Drilla Moloney, Gedo, Oskar, Robbie X, Taiji Ishimori, and Yuto-Ice. The group disbanded at NJPW New Year Dash and merged with the Unaffiliated to become Unbound Co.
