Longtime wrestling veteran and former WWE Superstar D’Lo Brown recently spoke to The Toronto Sun’s No Holds Barred regarding the incident that took place last Saturday at KnokX Pro, with Raja Jackson assaulting wrestler Syko Stu (aka Stuart Smith). Brown shared his thoughts on the incident, expressing how it could’ve been avoided in multiple ways. Below are some highlights of Brown’s thoughts (via Fightful):
D’Lo brown on Raja Jackson assaulting Syko Stu: “I only know what I’ve seen in the media and it just seemed like a bad situation from the jump. It seemed like it could’ve been avoided in several different ways, but unfortunately, it ended up in the ring with Stu getting severely hurt. First of all, let’s get give our thoughts and prayers to Stu and hopefully he makes a full recovery because that’s something that should never happen in wrestling.”
On the incident having multiple parties at fault: “Now, now we go to when you bring people in who don’t know what’s going on in your business or how to be a part of your business, they come in with a different mentality, you get things like that happen and it should have never ever happened, let’s make that clear. There’s a lot of people at fault, there’s a lot of people that could’ve done things differently. Let’s just see how it plays out but at the bottom line, I just want to wish Stu the best in his recovery.”
As noted, the LAPD is currently investigating the incident. No arrests have been made as of yet.
