Dolph Ziggler returned to WWE TV this week, showing up as Solo Sikoa’s opponent in the Last Time Is Now Tournament on Raw. Ziggler appeared on Monday’s show as Sikoa’s mystery opponent. The former World Champion got a hefty pop when his WWE theme song played.
Ziggler put forth a competitive match and nearly got the win with the Zig Zag, but Sikoa survived. He ultimately got the win with a Samoan Spike.
Since leaving WWE in 2023, Ziggler has been a regular in TNA. He won the TNA World Championship last year and the TNA World Tag Team Championships with his brother Ryan earlier this year. During his WWE tenure, Ziggler held a host of titles including the World Heavyweight Championship, NXT Championship, six Intercontinental Championship reigns and more.
WWE has released new merchandise for Ziggler, as you can see below along with highlights from the match.
Sikoa joins Sheamus, Rusev, Jey Uso, and LA Knight in the second round of the tournament. Gunther faces Je’Von Evans later in the night in another tournament match. The tournament winner faces Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match, Cena’s retirement bout, takes place on December 13th in Washington, DC at the Capital One Arena.
