Dominik Mysterio Reportedly Suffers Shoulder Injury at AAA Guerra de Titanes

F4WOnline.com and Bryan Alvarez are reporting that AAA Mega Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio suffered a shoulder injury at last night’s AAA Guerra de Titanes event. As noted, Mysterio was in action at the event, teaming up with El Grande Americano to face off against his dad, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and Rey Fenix.

Rey Fenix and Rey Mysterio were victorious thanks to the help of Penta. However, it appears that Dominik did not walk away from the match unscathed. According to Alvarez, Dominik suffered a shoulder injury near the end of last night’s main event bout.

Alvarez reports that Dominik hurt his shoulder taking the DDT from his father near the end of the match. It’s noted that Dominik “could barely use his arm at all after the injury.”

Alvarez wrote, “Based on how he landed, my presumption is it’s likely a shoulder separation, which, depending on the severity, could be a short-term injury, or worst case scenario surgery.” He continued, “But we won’t know anything until he gets evaluated. He could barely use the arm at all.”

After the match, Dominik shoved Americano and walked to the backstage area by himself. A confused Americano then shook hands with Rey Mysterio and exited the area as well.

Dominik Mysterio Faces Shoulder Injury Amid Two Major Title Reigns

Per Alvarez’s report, it looks like we won’t know much about the severity of Dominik’s shoulder issue until it gets evaluated. He currently holds two top singles titles, the Mega Championship for AAA and the Intercontinental Championship for WWE. If the shoulder injury is a long-term one, it could potentially derail both his title runs.

Dominik Mysterio regained the WWE Intercontinental Title last month at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025. He beat John Cena with the help of his onscreen girlfriend, Liv Morgan, to win back the title.
