Don Callis Explains How Many Wrestlers Looked Up to PAC

During a recent interview with Fightful’s Joe Pearl, Don Callis spoke about the late wrestler Benjamin Satterley, aka PAC, who unexpectedly passed away last weekend. Callis spoke about how many wrestlers in the locker room looked up to PAC.

Speaking on Satterley, Callis stated, “For me, PAC was the best of us in terms of what he did in the ring and just an incredibly humble guy. He was a guy I always would have loved to have in the Don Callis Family because he fit the profile. I mean, superior athlete… I remember when I managed Kenny Omega, and he was World Champion, and we had to wrestle PAC, and I remember being concerned about it because Kenny was used to being the best athlete, and if there was anyone who could challenge Kenny with that, it was PAC.”

Callis continued, “He was just incredible and so, I think that everyone in my family understands because we respect history. We respect, above all else, talent and results, and I think when a lot of the guys looked up to Ben, and with very good reason.”

Callis will be part of the commentary team for tonight’s MLP Northern Rising event along with WWE alumnus Mauro Ranallo. Tonight’s event is being held at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. The show will feature Steve Maclin vs. Adam Copeland in a singles bout.
