Double Tag Team Championship Match Ends In No Contest On WWE Smackdown
The double tag team title match on this week’s WWE Smackdown ended without a definitive winner after breaking down into chaos. Friday night’s show saw Damian Priest and R-Truth battle the War Raiders in a match that had both the WWE Tag Team Championships and AAA Tag Team Championships on the line.
The match went a little over six minutes before things fell apart. After R-Truth broke up a pin attempt following a Thor’s Hammer, the two teams began arguing and the referee got shoved by both teams. The ref then threw the match out as a no contest.
After the match, the two teams brawled in the ringside area and into the fans, then back to the ringside area where Tama and Talla Tonga showed up and beat everyone up. Haku appeared with the two as they held both tag team title sets in the air. You can see clips from the WWE Smackdown match below.
