Dragon Lee Reveals His Favorite Matches From His Run In WWE NXT

Dragon Lee looks back fondly at his time in WWE NXT, particularly his matches there against Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Title. The WWE Raw star had a memorable feud with Mysterio in 2023, which culminated in Lee winning the tite at NXT Deadline. The win ended Mysterio’s second run with the championship, and Lee held it for 31 days until losing it to Oba Femi.

During his appearance on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Lee named his bouts with Mysterio as his favorite from that era, noting that they have great chemistry in the ring. You can see highlights below:

“There’s a lot of talent, but some of the matches that I have more in my mind is with Dominik, that match with the North American Champion. Dom is so great. I have a good connection with him in the ring. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like when I see that match, I feel like that’s much like when Rey Mysterio wrestled with Eddie Guerrero.”
