Eddie Kingston To Challenge For CMLL World Heavyweight Title On Friday

Eddie Kingston has a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match in his future, with the bout happening at Friday’s CMLL show. CMLL announced the card on Monday for Friday’s Viernes Espectacular show, which will see Kingston challenge Hechicero for the World Championship.

The match is the first for Eddie Kingston first in CMLL and comes after he was pulled from this past Saturday’s AEW Collision where he was set to face Claudio Castagnoli in the AEW Continental Challenge Cup. Daniel Garcia took his place and Castagnoli won to move onto the semifinals.

CMLL Viernes Espectacular will take place from Arena Mexico. You can see the full card in the below tweet.
