Eddie Kingston Pulled From August’s Indie Event Due to CMLL Commitments

AEW star Eddie Kingston will no longer compete for an indie company in late August due to his commitments with CMLL.

Kingston was scheduled to appear at Beyond Wrestling’s “Americanrana” event on Friday, August 28. The event is set to take place at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Last night, Beyond Wrestling announced that Kingston will no longer compete at its showpiece event, as he is now scheduled to appear for CMLL in Mexico.

However, the company is hopeful of securing Eddie Kingston’s dates before the year ends.

“Eddie Kingston will no longer be competing at Beyond Wrestling ‘Americanrana’ on Friday, 8/28/26, as he is now scheduled to appear for CMLL in Mexico. We hope to have Eddie Kingston back before the end of the year if his schedule allows.”

Interestingly, last winter, Eddie Kingston announced that he would stop accepting independent bookings from November 2026.
