EVIL Breaks Silence After Making WWE NXT Debut
Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL has broken his silence since making his WWE debut last night. As previously reported, EVIL recently signed a contract with WWE. It was previously noted that the 39-year-old wanted to start his WWE career in NXT, and that’s exactly what happened last night.
EVIL interrupted reigning NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, who was in the midst of his promo, and handed the latter a scroll with Kanji written on it before leaving. The segment ended with Tavion Heights and Will Kroos attacking Tony D.
Earlier today, the NJPW veteran took to social media to announce his arrival. He wrote, I’ve Arrived. #WWENXT!” Check out his post below:

Notably, the commentary team didn’t identify him as EVIL, meaning he is set to work under a new ring name moving forward. Yesterday, WWE filed a trademark for “Nox Raijin.” In Japanese, “Raijin” means “Thunder God.” It will be interesting to see if he adopts this name moving forward.
