EVIL is rumored to be looking at his options beyond NJPW, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that the House of Torture leader may end up considering options beyond New Japan, according to rumors within the company.
It was noted that AEW is not expected to be among his options. AEW President Tony Khan is not said to be a fan of EVIL’s work.
EVIL has been part of NJPW for the entirety of his career beyond a two-year excursion to Ring of Honor in 2014 and 2015. He joined the NJPW Dojo back in 2011, making his in-ring debut for the company in May of that year. During his time in NJPW he has held the IWGP Heavyweight Championshup, IWGP Intercontinental Championship, IWGP Tag Team Titles twice, and NEVER Openweight Championship four times.
EVIL lost the NEVER Openweight Title to Aaron Wolf at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 on Sunday morning.
The NJPW star has yet to comment on the rumors.
