The finals are officially set for the Continental Challenge Cup at AEW All In this weekend, as determined on AEW Dynamite. Wednesday night’s episode saw Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness advance in their semifinal matches, defeating Claudio Castagnoli and Kyle O’Reilly respectively.
Moxley defeated his Death Rider stablemate in the opening match, making him pass out to the bulldog choke in about 16 minutes. Meanwhile, McGuinness advanced to the finals after he made O’Reilly tap out to the London Dungeon in almost 12 minutes.
Moxley and McGuinness will face off in the finals at AEW All In on Sunday, with the winner getting the Continental Challenge Cup and the AEW Continental Championship, which Moxley currently holds. The winner is also automatically entered into the Continental Classic later this year.
You can see clips from the matches below. AEW All In takes place on August 30th from Wembley Stadium in London and airs live on PPV. We’ll have an updated card for the show following the conclusion of this week Dynamite.
