Finn Balor Teases The Demon’s Return at WrestleMania 42

Finn Balor may be tapping into his dark side for WrestleMania 42, teasing the return of the Demon on this week’s WWE Raw. Monday night’s episode saw Balor set to face JD McDonagh as he prepares to battle Mysterio at WrestleMania. However, the match didn’t happen as Mysterio attacked Balor from behind, and the two Judgment Day members laid out their former ally with an AAA Mega Championship shot and a chair.

Later on, a vignette played in which Balor said that he wanted to do things the easy way, but he’s the guy who taught Dominik how to play dirty. He noted that the younger Mysterio had only seen one side of him, and that there was a side he thought was gone forever, but Mysterio awoke it.

Balor then said, “At WrestleMania, it’s coming for you.” The camera zoomed in on Balor, who started to show signs of the Demon before the vignette cut out.

The Demon hasn’t been seen since Balor lost inside Hell in the Cell to Edge at WrestleMania 39. You can see the vignette below.

WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
