First Trailer For American Gladiators Features Wardlow, The Miz & More

The first trailer for Prime Video’s American Gladiators is online featguring a number of wrestling stars including Wardlow and The Miz. Prime Video released the first full trailer for the rebooted series on Tuesday, and you can check it out in full below.

In addition to the Miz’s work as co-host, we get plenty of footage of Wardlow as Fang, Rick Boogs as The Bull, Jessie Godderz as Steel, J-Rod (aka Jessica Roden) as Supernova, and Kamille as Hurricane.

The show premieres on Prime Video on April 17th. The series is the latest revival of the famed 1989 athletic competition series, which ran for seven seasons. It is the latest in a number of revivals of the show, including a 2008 run that was hosted by the late Hulk Hogan. The new series is described as follows:

“The iconic competition returns with each episode featuring weekend warriors from across the nation stepping into the Arena to face 16 powerful new Gladiators. From classic events like Joust, Powerball, Hang Tough, and The Wall, to high-impact new challenges including The Ring and Collision, every showdown demands pure grit, strategy, and heart. Only one man and one woman will conquer the Arena, claim $100,000, and earn the title of American Gladiator Champion.”
